Proposte di tesi
Italiano

English
Theses are proposed after a meeting with the student. The aim of the first meeting is to understand what he/she likes, what is the type of his/her competence and what he/she is prepared to do.
The main topics are language and mathematical functions, but virtually any topic can occasionally be addressed. Methods are those of cognitive neuroscience, with a preference for clinical studies. Occasionally instrumental techniques like ERPs, TMS or neuroimaging are also used. Clinical investigations mainly concern single cases but occasionally the object of the study is a clinical population (e.g. Alzheimer's disease) or a normal population. Occasionally developmental populations are studied, mainly in order to compare their performance with that of pathological populations.
